Cubed Chicken Chunks

The jack-of-all-trades in the chicken world. Perfect for pastas, salads, and anything that needs a bite-sized piece of protein.

How-To

Give your breast a quick haircut by removing any excess parts you may not want. Cut each breast against the grain lengthwise into strips about 1-inch wide then cut each strip into small, even cubes. Store cubed chicken in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.

Meal Idea: Southwest Bowls

Season cubed chicken with a packet of taco seasoning and cook in a pan. Combine chicken with your favorite grain, black beans, corn, diced avocado, pico de gallo, and a squeeze of lime juice. Top with fresh cilantro and sour cream.

Prep Tip: Marinate cubes in a bag in the fridge with lime juice and taco seasoning packet. Use before 24 hours for best texture.

Sliced Tenders

Tenders are the prima donnas of the chicken world. They cook quickly and are adored by all ages. Perfect for breaded chicken tenders or stir-fries.

How-To

Give your breast a quick haircut by removing any excess parts you may not want. Cut each breast against the grain lengthwise into strips about 1-inch wide. Store slices in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.

Meal Idea: Chicken & Veggie Stir Fry

Combine slices with a mix of your favorite vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas) in a hot skillet or wok with avocado oil. During cooking add soy sauce, dried red pepper, minced garlic, ground mustard, a sprinkle of brown sugar, and a dash of sesame oil for flavor. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Thin Fajita Strips

Fajita strips are the rock stars of Mexican cuisine. They’re long, lean, and ready to sizzle. But you can also use this cut in dishes like soups or fried rice.

How-To

Give your breast a quick haircut by removing any excess parts you may not want. Cut each breast against the grain lengthwise into thin strips about a quarter to half an inch wide. If a strip is too long, cut in half lengthwise. Store fajita strips in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.

Meal Idea: Chicken Bacon Ranch Fajitas

Sauté ranch marinated chicken strips, bacon crumbles, bell peppers, and onion in a large skillet. Serve in warm flour tortillas with toppings of your choice such as shredded cheese or sour cream.

Prep Tip: Marinate thin strips of chicken in a mixture of ranch dressing, olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Tenderized Cutlets

Cutlets cook faster than full breasts, even more so when they are tenderized to be a uniform thickness. Use these for sandwiches, chicken fried chicken, or on their own with sides.

How-To

Give your breast a quick haircut by removing any excess parts you may not want. Press down on the top of the breast with your hand and slice the breast horizontally between your hand and the cutting board to create two thinner pieces. Place each cutlet between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet until evenly thin. Store cutlets in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.

Meal Idea: BBQ Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

Grill cutlets and baste with your favorite BBQ sauce toward the end of grilling. Serve on whole wheat buns with coleslaw and pickles for a quick and tasty sandwich.

Prep Tip: Make sure your knife is extra sharp when cutting the breast horizontally. A dull knife is like trying to shave with a butter knife, it will tear the meat.
