Grilled Chicken Nuggets Cooking Instructions

For all cooking methods, heat to an internal temperature of 165° F.

Preferred method

ON THE STOVETOP

step 1

Place frozen nuggets in nonstick skillet.

Heat on medium for 3 to 5 minutes or until warm.

IN THE MICROWAVE

step 1

Center frozen microwaves on microwave safe plate.

step 2

Heat nuggets covered on high:

For each additional 1/2 cup add 30 seconds.

Do not overheat. Appliances may vary. Heating times are approximate.

Chicken will be very hot! Handle with caution after they have been heated. Let cool 1 to 2 minutes before eating.

IN THE OVEN

Preheat oven to 350° F

Place frozen nuggets on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.

Heat for 8 minutes, flip nuggets and heat an additional 8 1/2 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° F.

Remove and let stand 2 minutes before serving.

IN THE AIR FRYER

Preheat air fryer to 350° F

Protein Breakfast Sandwich

Whole wheat English muffin sandwiched around pork sausage patty with scrambled egg and melted cheddar cheese.

Serving size: 4

Ingredients

4 George’s Farmers Market Pork Sausage Patties

4 Eggs

4 teaspoons heavy whipping cream

Vegetable oil, for cooking

4 slices Cheddar cheese

4 Whole wheat English muffins, toasted

Instructions

  • Heat sausage patties according to skillet instructions, set aside keeping warm.
  • Combine one egg and 1 teaspoon of cream together in a small mixing bowl and whisk well.
  • Cook in a well-oiled skillet over medium heat, pushing the egg mixture in a thin layer around the skillet until cooked throughout.
  • With a spatula, fold the egg into layers and top with cheese. Repeat with remaining eggs.
  • Sandwich sausage with egg and cheese between toasted English muffins.

Strawberry French Toast & Sausage

Brioche bread slices soaked in a vanilla egg mixture and toasted golden with turkey sausage patties and served with strawberry butter, fresh strawberries and maple syrup.

Ingredients

9 George’s Farmers Market Turkey Sausage Patties

4 eggs

1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons honey

6 slices brioche bread

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

¼ cup strawberry jam

Maple syrup, to taste

Sliced strawberries, garnish

Instructions

  • Heat sausage patties according to skillet instructions, set aside and keep warm.
  • Combine eggs, cream, vanilla and honey in a mixing bowl.
  • Heat a well-oiled skillet over medium heat. Soak each bread slice in the mixture and toast in the skillet until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
  • Combine the butter and jam together until well incorporated, refrigerate.
  • Serve the sausage with hot French toast, strawberry butter, maple syrup and strawberries.

Southwestern Sausage Bake

Red bell peppers with yellow onions mixed with pepperjack cheese, corn and black beans in fluffy eggs topped with pork sausage and baked golden in a tortilla crust. Served with pico de gallo.

Prep time: 15 minutes  |  Cook time: 35 minutes  |  Total time: 50 minutes

Ingredients

6 George’s Farmers Market Pork Sausage Patties

¼ cup diced red bell pepper

¼ cup diced yellow onion

¼ cup corn

¼ cup black beans

6 eggs

¼ cup heavy whipping cream

6 corn tortillas (4” street taco size)

½ cup shredded pepperjack cheese

Pico de gallo, garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 400º Prepare a baking pie dish with parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray. Place the 5 tortillas around the edge of the dish and one in the middle.
  • Heat sausage patties according to skillet instructions, set aside and let cool.
  • Cook pepper, onion, corn and beans in the skillet for 3-5 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
  • Combine the eggs and cream in a mixing bowl and whisk well with cheese. Fold in the vegetables. Pour over the tortillas.
  • Place the sausage patties in a ring in the egg mixture.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve with fresh pico de gallo.

Mediterranean Turkey Sausage Frittata Cups

Spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese wiped in egg whites and topped with turkey sausage patties baked golden in muffin cups. Served with tzatziki sauce.

Serving size: 6

Prep time: 10 minutes  |  Cook time: 30 minutes  |  Total time: 40minutes

Ingredients

6 George’s Farmers Market Turkey Sausage Patties

12 egg whites

3 teaspoons heavy whipping cream

¾ cup freshly chopped spinach

3 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes

3 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese

Tzatziki sauce, garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 400º Line a 12-cup muffin pan with parchment paper or cupcake liners. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Heat sausage patties according to skillet instructions, set aside and let cool. Cut in half.
  • Combine the egg whites and cream in a mixing bowl. Whisk well, fold in the spinach, tomatoes and cheese. Pour into the liners.
  • Place one half sausage into each cup and bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve with tzatziki sauce.
