  • 1 Georges Farmers Market Whole Chicken
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 curry powder
  • 1⁄4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked rice


  • Red onion
  • Thinly sliced Fresh cilantro, leaves
  • Naan bread
  • Prepared tzatziki sauce


    1. Preheat oven at 425°F.
    2. Combine the butter, lemon zest, ginger, garlic, and curry powder in a mixing bowl.
    3. Loosen the skin from the meat of the chicken. Stuff the butter underneath the skin.
    4. Place the chicken in an instant pressure cooker with broth. Cook the chicken with high pressure for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Carefully remove the chicken and place on a baking sheet. Roast the chicken for 15 minutes to crisp the skin golden.
    5. Serve the chicken family-style with rice, red onion, cilantro, naan bread and tzatziki sauce.
