Ingredients
For the Wings
- 2 lbs Georges Farmers Market® Chicken Wings
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
For the Seasoning
- 1½ Tbsp fresh lemon zest
- 1½ Tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
For the Glaze
- 1½ Tbsp fresh lemon zest
- ½ cup honey
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
- 1 lemon, zested
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- Kosher salt

Preparation
- Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and set an oven-safe cooling rack inside. In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with baking powder and salt and toss until evenly coated. Place on rack in a single layer, leaving a little space between each wing. Refrigerate uncovered for at least 8 hours and up to 24 hours.
- Toss chicken wings with lemon pepper seasoning (see below), pressing seasoning gently into wings to make sure it adheres.
- Cook chicken wings in oven or air fryer:
- Air Fryer: Preheat on 400°F. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Add chicken wings in a single layer, leaving a space between each wing and set timer for 18 minutes, carefully flipping the wings halfway through cooking.
- Oven: Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lightly coat an oven-safe cooling rack with nonstick cooking spray and set on a baking sheet. Remove chicken wings from marinade and place in a single layer on the rack, leaving space between each wing. Roast for 20 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 15–25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
- Place wings in a large mixing bowl and spoon ⅔ of the glaze mixture (see below) over the wings. Toss to coat. Serve with remaining glaze on the side.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, spread mixture in a thin, even layer. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until lemon zest is dried out. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool, glaze will thicken as it cools.
- Alternative: Buy good quality lemon pepper seasoning at your local grocery store.
